Wrap up of IDENTITY: Fashion from Stephens Lane

Ladies and gentlemen, if you missed the IDENTITY May event, you had better jot down the 16th of July in your calendar for the next one as it was an absolutely decadent evening!

The bubbles were flowing, the canapés (specially designed for the evening of course) were delicious and the fashionistas of Brisbane were out in their finest.

The heritage buildings surrounding Stephens Lane provided a stunning backdrop to the colourful and elegant fashion on display. The models were gorgeous – we swear David Beckham was strutting on the catwalk. And of course the fashion and accessories topped off a perfect evening.

Headwear from The Hat Box was first out on the catwalk, classic black pieces ready for the Winter racing carnival. Bally followed with elegant neutral and rust brown pieces; inspired by classic trench and the glossy coat of a racehorse. Our favourite were the body-con Herve Leger bandage dresses that made us wish we had of visited the gym this week. And finally the pièce de résistance, Tiffany & Co: defined by groundbreaking designers and glamorous collections.

Congratulations to Di Cant and Katie Goodwin from the Treasury for a spectacular evening. We are sure IDENTITY has made its mark on Brisbane’s fashion scene and will be around for years to come!
