There is no doubt Brisbane’s not short of creative talent. And we always talk frocks, so today we’re talking accessories! Bags, shoes, jewellery and all locally designed, manufactured or based in Brisbane! I love how diverse this list is… there’s something for every taste, next time you’re in the market for a little bling.. think local!

1. Nat-Sui Shoes – Fortitude Valley – Google Map

Another Brisbane institution, still designing fashion forward shoes made for our warm weather and vibrant personality.

2. Ruby + Olive – online.

Amazing resin jewellery, the colours always make me smile!

3. Chrissa Alexion – Boundary Street Markets + Online

A newly discovered gem. Fantastic use of stones and leather to create gorgeous one of a kind pieces.

4. Lacorvin – online.

My go-to for great quality leather goods! My only problem is stopping at one!

5. Ruby + Prankstar – leather and jewellery  – Fortitude Valley – Google Map

One-of-a-kind. These guys blow my mind, they use the materials, raw leather, horse hair, and brass to create fantastic statement pieces.

6. Knots + Knits – Bags – online.

I was so lucky to receive a Knots + Knits bag for my birthday last year, and I take it everywhere. Everyone always compliments me on how unique it is! Randomly, it has been a great ice-breaker for networking events!!

7. Angle Diamond Dot – online.

I remember the gorgeous Courtney’s first market showing of her unique jewellery brand. Described as an explosion of semi-precious stones, her designs are not for the faint-hearted.

8. Stone + Metal – Fortitude Valley – Google Map

We love these guys so much there is a whole write-up here.

9. Chelsea De Luca – Fortitude Valley – Google Map

Make a statement.

10. Cherry on Top Hats + Accessories – online.

Racing season? Let them be your first stop.

11. Sistaco – online/markets.

On trend jewellery, perfect to highlight your inner fashionista!

12. Lavender Latte – online and in My Cube in the Myer Centre, Garden City and Sunnybank.

If cute is your thang, look no further. Gorgeous hair barrettes, bows and embellished sunnies!

13. Paula Hall Designs – online.

Sensational jewels! Do not attend another party without them!

14. Belle Folie – Ascot – Google Map

Bespoke headpieces for racewear and weddings.

Brisbane Claire Aristides FIne Jewels Rings DSC_0907

Fine jewellery and designer shoes? Well you didn’t have to ask me twice! When I received the invitation to view the new Claire Aristides Fine Jewellery collection at Nat Sui last week I promptly sent my RSVP and cut up my credit card.

The afternoon event was decorated with champagne and cupcakes but it was obvious from the start that attendees were there for more than just free sweet treats.

Set against a backdrop of gorgeous Brisbane shoe-designer Nat Sui’s Spring Collection; the Claire Aristides jewels sparkled and an excited flurry of Brisbane ladies vied to be the first to try them on.

Claire Aristides latest collection features STATEMENT cocktail rings in the seasons hottest colours; arm candy that will have the Man Repeller excited; pretty pendants and an array of don’t-leave-the-house-without lucky charms!

My favourites… the Yellow Gold Horseshoe Bracelet; Pink Amethyst Cocktail Ring; and the Capri heel in Nude and Orange….currently scrambling to sticky-tape that credit card back together!!
