Bad Brows Be Gone – My Trip To RY Brickworks

If you’re anything like me, you’ll understand the pain that comes with maintaining a basic beauty routine – the hair removal, the ever-changing makeup techniques, the skin breakouts, the random weight gains, the struggle to find motivation to exercise and drink enough water, finding clothes that flatter your shape (because let’s face it, no one is a perfect size 6, and that’s totally awesome), awkward fashion trends… the list goes on and on.

I was never really blessed with natural skills in hair and makeup (hallelujah for the top knot), which is why I’m one to truly value the skills other women (and sometimes men) have in the beauty space, and especially when it comes to eyebrows.

I have bushy caterpillars above my eyelids and always seem to “nail it” on one, and completely miss the mark 5 seconds later on the other brow. I’ll master it one day, but so far, no good.

But alas ladies, there is a cure and that comes with eyebrow tinting and reshaping. Recently I visited the lovely gals at RY Brickworks who pampered me with a full on eyebrow treatment, and you can take my word for it, my eyebrows have never looked so good.

The process was quick and easy, and so comfortable that the hot wax just didn’t faze me. I rose from the chair with eyebrows to rival Cara Delevingne, and I was stoked. Plus, my new brows joined me on a holiday to Bali, where humidity, the ocean and makeup just don’t go well, but I can assure you my eyes were naturally on fleek for the entire 14 days.

So if you want to wake up in the morning with your eyebrows on point too  and not worry about the painful process of mismatched eyebrows, book yourself an appointment at RY Brickworks at Southport and take a drive down the M1 to find your brow mojo. You won’t regret it ladies… you’re welcome in advance.

While you are down on the Gold Coast getting your brows done, why not make a day of it with breakfast at a hip café, followed by a market jaunt, dip in the ocean of thrill-seeking experience. Check out our top 13 things to do on the gold coast here.

Ry Brickworks is located at3c/107 Ferry Rd, Southport QLD 4215, call on 07 555 10764 and learn more about the salon and their services here.
