Nelson Molly will showcase their designs at this year’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane.  Catch their designs on Saturday August 7 in the Group Show 3.

Nelson Molloy are notorious for their elegant, feminine and versatile pieces. Each garment is functional yet innately beautiful.

We also love their “Cutting Table Blog” – which serves as an open journal documenting what is going on in their mad fashion world!

From the label:

Nelson Molloy is an independent fashion label based in Brisbane, Australia.

The label was created in 2002 by designers Maria Nelson (Australia) and David Molloy (New Zealand).

The focus of the label is to create beautiful garments for women who are unique, clever and fashion forward.

Each collection that the duo creates contain a series of pieces that can be worn in more ways than one – a skirt can double as a dress, a jacket can be worn in reverse or a signature wrap can be worn as many different garments – a dress, a top or even a light jacket.

Currently there are three Nelson Molloy stores in Brisbane, including the flagship store in the fashion precinct of Fortitude Valley, the design studio and store in West End and the stall at the South Bank Markets. They are also part of the coveted Young Designers Market held at the South Bank Markets.
