Francis Leon will join several other Brisbane boutiques in showcasing their new season stock in the Mercedes-Benz Group Show 3 on Saturday August 7 at 9pm.

We’ll let the label do the talking, but rest assured you will be struck by the beautiful colour palette, geometric inserts and the care with attention to detail in every garment.

From the label:

Brisbane based Francis Leon has become one of Australia’s most promising emerging designer labels, offering garments of exceptional quality and fit, enhanced by their edgy and contemporary aesthetic. Designers Jo Turner and Katy Lysaught successfully combine their backgrounds in fine arts, fashion and graphic design to create pieces that offer a truly unique aesthetic in the Australian Market.

Launched at the 2009 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane, Francis Leon’s Autumn Winter 09/10 collection TWO presents a sophisticated collection of timeless womenswear pieces that seamlessly blend high street tailoring with edgy streetwear influences.

TWO presents an intelligent combination of sleek structured pieces perfectly suited to the Australian conditions. Tailored wool and leather jackets, impeccably cut silk dresses, tapered pants and a crisp white shirt create timeless silhouettes while unique detailing such as intricate panelling, leather inserts and hidden pockets add that extra something special to each garment. A colour palette of ink-like navy, black, maroon heather grey and white reinforce the wearable and sophisticated nature of the pieces. With an unfailing commitment to quality, every component of a Francis Leon garment has been specially considered to unsure maximum wearability, longevity and comfort for the wearer.

TWO is available in store now.
