We all know the reality of this can be a little too strong and the struggle a little too real at times. Lucky for us, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove is putting all of our coffee woes at bay with their twist on the classic high tea with their new High Coffee experience!
Hosted in the stunning space of The Fireplace located at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, we were treated to decadent savoury and sweet treats that really hit all of our favourite coffee spots. From beetroot cured salmon on charcoal bread (easy on the eyes, good for the insides) to smoked pumpkin scones and Oreo chocolate bites; we found ourselves lost in a coffee filled food coma.
Perhaps our favourite treat of the day (though it’s hard to pick just one) was Chef Harry’s signature take on the classic éclair with coffee custard! Paired alongside an Espresso Martini, it was hard to stop ourselves from asking for seconds!
The InterContinental Sanctuary Cove is the first to introduce High Coffee in Australia. With coffee being Australia’s go-to wake me up, they jumped on the chance to bring us a high tea experience with a wonderful, caffeinated twist; how lucky are we to experience such a buzz all in our beautiful backyard!
High Coffee is served at The Fireplace Friday to Sunday from 12:30pm – be sure to book in advance to guarantee your chance to experience coffee in a whole new light!
