Inika Organic Cosmetics Review

Before discovering Inika I was pretty anti-makeup. Personally, I didn’t like the way it made my skin feel and all the hidden nasties, as well as the ethical damage on animals and the environment from certain beauty brands. Therefore I never ever wore it. I decided enough was enough and made the decision to ditch every single beauty product that I own and replace it all with organic, vegan products. This decision was influenced by a number of things – wanting to stop using products that tested on animals, negatively impacted on the environment and overall wanting to use products that were going to benefit my skin. In the process, I uncovered Inika Organic Cosmetics and my makeup routine went from non-existent to something I look forward to!

Good skin starts from within; we all know what we eat and drink plays a huge role in our skin complexion. What we often forget though is that what we put on our faces plays just as an important role. Using makeup products that contain ingredients that complement your skincare routine is so important. Why do all that hard work just to take two steps backwards when applying makeup?

My complexion is oily, so for me, it’s super important to have products that won’t add to the oiliness and clog my pores, which ended up leaving me feeling gross and dreading ever wearing the product again. Inika’s Loose Mineral Foundation SPF25 is a total dream come true! Super light and applied evenly with their Vegan Kabuki Brush, my skin tone is even and oil controlled! Paired with their Certified Organic Vegan Lipstick in ‘Before Sunset’, my everyday look is sorted and at the end of the day, I’m not itching to take it all off at the first chance I get. Knowing I’m supporting a company that is also animal and environment-friendly is just an added bonus at this point.

If you’re uncertain on what product from Inika is right for you (their range is basically endless!) they have a range of trial packs you can pick and choose from to find the right product for you and your skin!

You can buy Inika Organic Cosmetics from select stores around Brisbane including Myer Brisbane City and Fundies Wholefood Market in Paddington.
