All of ya Brisbanites with ya pumped up dancin’ kick’s, better dance, better eat faster than you can drink… For the first time ever, Fish Lane invites you to get involved in live music, epic local eat’s and quality drinks. Here is everything you need to know about the upcoming Fish Lane Festival!
What has become one of Brisbane’s leading dining precincts, Fish Lane in South Brisbane presents the Fish Lane Festival. The event will commence on Saturday May 7, from midday until 10pm… (in which case all the cool kidz can walk around the corner to The Fox and continue the festival with full bellies).Yes, this is what Brisbane’s Laneway culture has been waiting for, a NEW and FREE festival in the hub of South Brisbane. Fish Lane will merge mecca foodie faves from Southbank and West End, so missing it is not an option…well, not for us anyway!
The FOOD line-up alone will make you go loco, with Julius Pizzeria, Bird’s Nest Restaurant, Fish Lane Bistro, Gauge, Habitat, Gelato Messina, Madame Wu, Maker, The Fox Hotel, The Gun shop Cafe and Billy Kart Kitchen all making an appearance for the one-day-only event.Word on the street there is more where that list came from. Next question; what makes a festival a festival….?!?! Well, by definition, entertainment is slotted somewhere in there, alongside food and drink of course. The Fish Lane Festival will be showcasing talented live music acts (name dropping TBA) across two stages.
Now, if having a bevvy is your thing (no judgement here) don’t worry drinks, drinks and more drinks will be on offer. Bar menu’s are also TBA – keeping us in suspense, we see how it is. But we do know the all-important craft beer, cocktails and fines wines will be available, so there will certainly be something for everyone.
