An evening spent at The Rabbit Hole (Ideation Cafe), West End. On arrival, we were greeted with a glass of pink champagne and smiley faces.
Quirky fashion folk filled room, chit chatting and admiring the embellishments around them. Wool pom poms in soft colours hanging from corner to corner, miniature cut out card in the shape of dresses, shoes and lollies scattered from wall to wall. Post card artwork pegged up on string and love-heart paper doilies hanging contently. A ‘paper like’ feel with origami folds decorated the entire room.
A colourful buffet of sweets and treats all arranged to perfection waiting for the guests to indulge, certainly had my mouth watering. Next up, the fashion show, ‘Paperdolls Have Sherbet Dreams’ playful dresses and pastel ruffles, netting and bows, topped off by paper origami hairpieces. A unique feel this cutesy collection enhanced by the creative and joyful surroundings.
For a cool fashion fresh atmosphere this great spot allows you to kick back and meet the quirky people of Brisbane. After party drinks spilled over to the bar next door called ‘The End’, a pretty new addition to West End, and great if you like your casual Friday night drinks, cocktails and rums.
