In the highly competitive Brisbane cafe market it can often be a challenge to find the right place to sip your espresso or enjoy a wholesome breakfast. Doc Brown Cafe in West End ticks all the right boxes!
Previous owner of the popular Brown Dog in Woolloongabba, Christian Maltby, has done it again with this cafe which opened it’s doors last month. The contemporary design, the oh-so-friendly staff, and the attention to detail make this cafe a #MustVisit this summer! The menu boasts a range of options from the classic avo smash on toast, through to The Brexican and and array of pimped up toasties (think the Reuben, kimchi, pulled pork, preserved lemon & prosciutto). Wholesome and hearty food served with a smile.
And of course the cornerstone of every good cafe has to be the relationship between great coffee and a great barista. There’s no doubt Doc Brown Cafe has this balance right, satisfying all the West End coffee cravings with their perfectly made Genovese Coffees. They also feature a delicious range of juices, teas, smoothies and frappes!
For all those movies buffs out there be sure to look out for Back to the Future and Stars Wars memorabilia. Whilst I myself don’t know much about Star Wars myself… fair to say my son lost it when he saw the shape ship thing** which I am told is called the Millennium Falcon.
Did I mention child-friendly? My little one loved the food (and the Star Wars figurines)! He’s quickly becoming Brisbane’s youngest foodie hipster I think #Legit (he took the last picture in this post). This place seriously makes everyone feel relaxed and comfortable with its friendly West End cafe vibes.
Oh and I nearly forgot… Doc Brown Cafe also use reusable stainless steel straws. Bye Bye Plastic. #WarOnWaste
Time to pay Doc Brown Cafe a visit… you won’t be disappointed!
