Beauty Tuesday: A Delicious Skin Review | Brisbane Threads

We get sent a lot of gorgeous new beauty products to try  – in fact, that’s the reason I created Beauty Tuesday here on the blog. So when the new Delicious Skin Polished All Over Scrub crossed our desks a couple of weeks ago, we couldn’t not tell you about it.

Back in our eco beauty (here) series we spoke about Delicious Skin and it’s focus on natural ingredients that combine to do well. The range is 100% cruelty free and vegan and contains no chemical preservatives, fragrances, colours, palm oil, animal derivatives, parabens, SLS or SLES, so a lot of thought and research has gone into the formulas of each product to ensure they work well and nourish naturally. Even packing and distribution strategies have an environmental focus, with glass and tin containers used instead of plastics and tubes. I immediately fell in love with the Delicious Skin ethos and products simultaneously.

The Delicious Skin Soft Moisturising Cream smells like a tub of cookie dough ice-cream, and it’s the perfect consistency to lather on the body to smooth and rehydrate. Coupled with the Delicious Skin Supple Silk Serum, it’s a match made in skincare heaven, and that’s before the new Delicious Skin Polish All Over Scrub made it’s way to BTHQ.Beauty Tuesday: A Delicious Skin Review | Brisbane ThreadsThe Polished All Over Scrub is part of the new range of products that combine sweet orange and vanilla for a simply delicious scent. It’s packed with beautiful oils such as sweet almond and organic coconut as well as organic raw sugar, brown sugar, vitamin e, vanilla powder and sweet orange essential oils. All ingredients are sourced naturally and work together to exfoliate and sooth.

So, how does it work? Simply take a small handful of the Delicious Skin Polished All Over Scrub and rub between clean, dry palms and then massage into warm, wet skin in a circular motion. It’ll feel like you’re rubbing sand and sugar all over your face and it can get a little messy, however by the time your skin is rinsed and patted dry you’ll notice it feeling fresher and smoother. I’ve used it a couple of times now as a weekend treatment before going makeup-free for the day, and so far, I have no qualms at all.

So what’s the verdict? We give it 4 stars! Beauty Tuesday: A Delicious Skin Review | Brisbane ThreadsBeauty Tuesday: A Delicious Skin Review | Brisbane ThreadsBeauty Tuesday: A Delicious Skin Review | Brisbane ThreadsBeauty Tuesday: A Delicious Skin Review | Brisbane ThreadsBeauty Tuesday: A Delicious Skin Review | Brisbane ThreadsDo you know a beauty product or brand that we should try?
