Another musician to come to Brisbane Powerhouse on Thursday 13th April is Jack Shimabukuro. I have to confess I hadn’t heard of this incredible musician, but I have just been balling my eyes out watching him play Bohemian Rhapsody and Halleluiah on YouTube. This guy is the real deal! Holy moly. Jake is an established musician from Hawaii and Japan who absolutely smashed it out on the ukulele. It feels as though he has an entire band of instruments with him on the stage not only one ukulele! He is touring his new album Nashville Sessions to Brisbane in a not to be missed event. I actually couldn’t stop you tubing Jack!! Maybe I was living in a bubble but his you tube video of “while my guitar gently weeps’ blew my mind.
