To celebrate Australia Day today, we’ve put an Australiana spin on our regular Beauty Tuesday series. So, to celebrate our patriotism, we’ve put together a round-up of the best beauty bloggers in Australia. We love a good beauty blog as much as the next gal, so we did some hard research and put our heads together to come up with this list of Australian beauty bloggers. Let the countdown begin (in no particular order)!
Do you want super cute makeup tutorials with some life commentary thrown in. Look no further than Chloe Morello. She’s worked with everyone in the beauty industry it seems, putting big international brands as well as local favourites to the beauty test to give us all of the beauty info we need.
She’s at the top of the pack when it comes to the best beauty bloggers in Australia and it’s pretty obvious why, with 1.4 million followers on Instagram, over 3.3 million Youtube subscribers and an epic beauty haul in her bathroom. We also love her sweet personality and fun makeup tutorials. You can check out her blog here.
The Raw Edit
Steph is originally from Las Vegas (!!) and now calls the Sunshine Coast home. She’s a bright lip kind of gal, and even guest posted on Brisbane Threads last year, telling you lucky folks how she creates a statement red lip.
The Daily Mark
Madeleine is an all-round #girlboss, mastering beauty at The Daily Mark with some tech and lifestyle tips thrown in, and then her other bloggy business, Be A Blogger Boss, looks ace for start-up bloggers. She can also take a realllll good Insta-flatlay!
Stephanie’s “Ugly Without Makeup” is the best, check it out, should be sitting at the top of her Youtube channel. Go girl! You just have to keep up with her fast talking! Also, stop by Stephanie’s Youtube channel if you’re interested in getting your lips done – she’s just gone through the experience and talks about it in a recent vlog. You can also catch her on Instagram here.
This gal has mastered the beauty flatlay for Instagram like no other, so do stop by to see what products she’s lusting over right now.
Empowering women with the world of cosmetics is what Sigourney from Beauticate is all about. Having held top jobs at Beauty Journalist for over 15 years, including a recent stint at Vogue Australia, this beauty knows what she’s talking about!
Sharon The Makeup Artist
I first met Sharon (very) briefly at ProBlogger 2015, and I can assure you she loves what she’s doing. Her blog and Youtube tutorials are full of helpful tips and techniques, and she’s not afraid to put a crazy look together either.
If you’re into gorgeous braids and intricate up-do’s with a hint of gypsy-chic, I can almost guarantee you’ve stumbled across Christina and Hair Romance. If not, you’re missing out! Check out Hair Romance on Instagram for the ultimate in hair-spiration.
Beauty Life Michelle
Another beauty influencer to add to your follower list is Michelle from Beauty Life Michelle. She’s Irish-born, but one-to-watch when it comes to Australian beauty bloggers, so don’t let that accent fool you. Follow Michelle on Youtube and Instagram.
Eleanor Pendleton can do no wrong if you ask me! She’s taking on the digital space and disrupting the industry like a true #girlboss. Eleanor founded Gritty Pretty, a website dedicated to beauty, in 2010 and for the last 5 years has seen the digital publication go from strength to strength as the world’s top beauty brands line up to work with her. Check out her Gritty Pretty on Instagram and Youtube.
Oz Beauty Expert
They don’t call her the Oz Beauty Expert for nothing! Bonnie is a qualified makeup artist, working in the field for over 10 years, so she’s got heaps of industry experience to bring to the blogging world. Fun fact: according to her ‘about’ page, she was appointed as the personal beauty adviser to the Queen’s lady in waiting of Buckingham Palace.
Another super cute beauty blogger who I briefly crossed paths with at ProBlogger last year was Karima from Shameless Fripperies. Stop by her Youtube and Instagram for tips and tricks on the latest products, and how to do everyday makeup looks like a pro.
Finally, we couldn’t round out this piece without a special mention to two of my favourite Beauty Editors and all-round beauty gurus – Leigh Campbell (former Cosmopolitan Beauty Editor) and Zoe Foster Blake, an absolute gem, witty as all hell and a Go-To beauty gal. While they may not necessarily be the best beauty bloggers in Australia, they sure do know what they talking about, and we couldn’t love them any harder if we tried.
So there you have it, the best beauty bloggers in Australia right now! Do you have a favourite Australian beauty influencer? We’d love to hear who you follow!
